Please complete Gilbert Public Schools online enrollment for new and current South Valley Junior High (Grades 7-8) Families. 

When you reach the Student Enrollment Section of the application, please select Performance Academy in the 'Enrollment Grade' drop-down and South Valley Junior High in the 'School Requested' drop-down.

If you are an existing GPS student, then you can proceed to online enrollment by clicking "Existing GPS Family Registration" on our Enrollment Page and logging into your Infinite Campus account to complete the online open enrollment process.

To be part of the Sports Performance Academy students must:

• be an incoming 7th - 8th grader for the school year you are enrolling
• enroll in Gilbert Public Schools to attend South Valley Junior High (7th-8th graders)

Please note that students do NOT have to live within the boundaries of South Valley Junior High or Gilbert Public Schools in order to enroll at the Performance Academy.

Additional information for students enrolling through open enrollment - Open Enrollment application must be completed and submitted to the school in which the student seeks to enroll, outside of the designated school boundaries. Acceptance of an open enrollment student is on a year-by-year basis. However, students do not need to re-apply unless they are seeking enrollment at another school site. 

Transportation can be requested to a select number of facilities within our school district boundaries. View the list of facilities.

Your student can be enrolled in an athletics or a performing arts program of their choice, and be picked up by a parent or family member at the end of the morning academic schedule and taken to their facility or program.

Yes! 

Our Sports Performance Academy students are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to take part in South Valley Junior High Athletics. Junior High sports seasons are 9 weeks in length.
